Tour of UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay

THIS EVENT HAS PAST

Monday, June 22, 2015 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM

Overview

As a follow up to last Fall’s BAPIN event “Breaking New Ground: Process Innovation at UCSF Medical Center’s Mission Bay Campus,” which featured Biran Herriot, Director of Mission Bay Operations Planning, we are pleased to offer a unique opportunity to tour UCSF’s new Medical Center at Mission Bay, thanks to Brian and his UCSF colleagues.

As part of the tour we’ll see their one of a kind Aethon robotic tugs in action and learn about the complex modeling and simulation that went into designing the system. We’ll also learn about their Voalte wireless communication system, OneView patient navigator, as well as patient room designs, public spaces, and a host of other details which make their new facility both cutting edge and patient and family friendly!
